Knipe Hall is a Grade II-Listed period farmhouse set in grounds of about three acres in the idyllic and tranquil Lowther Valley, with south and west-facing gardens.
Accommodating up to 12 people the Hall is furnished and equipped to the highest standards making it the ultimate in luxury self-catering holidays. The Hall offers the opportunity to leave everything behind and take advantage of the peace and tranquillity and be able to walk out of the front door into beautiful countryside in this unspoilt area. Featuring a fabulous 'party barn', this is the perfect place for family gatherings, groups of friends, or parties interested in walking, riding, fishing, shooting or other outdoor activities.

The property probably dates from the early 17th century and retains many period features including stone mullioned windows, flagged floors and impressive exposed timbers, which combine with a stylish bespoke kitchen, stone open fireplaces and contemporary bathroom fittings. The property has an enclosed garden, patio area and furniture perfect for relaxing and taking in the fabulous surroundings and a further benefit to the property is the hot tub.
The property has a fabulous 'party barn' suitable for everyone to get together, perfect for that special occasion. The property can also be let alongside Yew Tree Farm (sleeps 14) where the owner is happy to organise transportation between the two properties, and the nearby Mardale Inn @ St Patrick's Well .

Entrance leading into spacious bespoke Country Dining Kitchen with Aga, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Lounge - with open fire, colour TV, DVD and video. Snug: with sofa bed suitable for children. Utility/Laundry room: Large room with plenty of space for drying walking clothes and boots. Hallway leading to superb galleried dining room. Shower room with W.C. and hand basin.
First Floor
There are 5 bedrooms, 2 of which have super king sized beds which can be made up as twins if required (please request on booking), one twin-bedded room, and one double bedroom. One of the bedrooms is en-suite, one bedroom has the additional feature of a stone spiral staircase leading to a handy-sized nursery/dressing room. There are two house bathrooms with bath, W.C. and hand basin.
Outside
Large lawned garden, patio area, garden furniture and BBQ. Ample parking. Storage for bikes available.
The 'Party Barn' can be accessed by prior arrangement with the owner.
All fuel, bed linen and towels provided. Cot and highchair available.
